The Giant Lupine of Vairano is a legume grown in the upper Casertano area, a SlowFood presidium. It is characterized by its large size, from which it takes its name. The product is stored in a solution of water and salt. Rich in proteins, fibers and minerals, free from cholesterol and gluten.
Excellent as a snack or appetizer, perhaps accompanied by olives and pumpkin seeds.
